Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi with Epson ET-4810 printer

If you’re having trouble connecting your Epson ET-4810 printer to Wi-Fi, there are several steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve the problem:

  1. Check Wi-Fi Network: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working correctly and other devices can connect to it without any issues.
  2. Printer Placement: Make sure the printer is placed within the range of your Wi-Fi router. If it’s too far away, the signal strength may be weak, leading to connection problems.
  3. Restart Devices: Power off both your printer and Wi-Fi router. Wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity problems.
  4. Wi-Fi Settings on Printer: Access your printer’s control panel and navigate to the Wi-Fi settings. Ensure that the printer is set to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the password is entered correctly.
  5. Network Name (SSID) and Password: Double-check the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password you entered on the printer. Even a small typo in the network name or password can cause connectivity issues.
  6. Wireless Mode: Ensure that the printer’s wireless mode is set to “Infrastructure” mode, as this is the standard mode for connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
  7. Signal Interference: Verify that there are no signal interferences or obstructions between the printer and the Wi-Fi router that may hinder the connection.
  8. Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Epson ET-4810 printer. Updating the firmware can often resolve compatibility issues and improve connectivity.
  9. Disable MAC Address Filtering: Temporarily disable MAC address filtering on your Wi-Fi router to see if it’s causing any problems with the printer’s connection.
  10. Security Protocols: Ensure that your Wi-Fi router is using common security protocols such as WPA2-PSK (AES) or WPA3. Avoid using outdated or less secure protocols like WEP.
  11. Reset Network Settings: If nothing seems to work, you can try resetting the network settings on your printer. Refer to the printer’s manual or Epson’s support website for instructions on how to do this.
  12. Contact Epson Support: If you’ve tried all the above steps and still can’t connect your Epson ET-4810 printer to Wi-Fi, it’s time to reach out to Epson’s customer support for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps specific to your printer model.
